Narendranath Panda
I am an Enterprise Cloud & Platform Architect with 20+ years of experience across enterprise software and infrastructure. My work connects cloud and Kubernetes modernization, distributed platforms, AWS architecture, production-oriented AI platforms, and technical leadership.
My career portfolio is organized around four connected pillars:
- Enterprise Platform Architecture: Kubernetes and cloud platforms, data-centre modernization, secure edge fleets, GitOps, observability and platform operations.
- AWS Architecture: hybrid-cloud design, migration, security, reliability, networking and cost-aware architecture.
- AI Platform Engineering: taking AI and agentic workloads toward secure, scalable and observable production platforms.
- Technical Leadership: architecture decisions, engineering direction, mentoring and cross-team delivery.
The public material here focuses on architecture decisions, trade-offs, implementation lessons and reusable patterns. Professional experience, prototypes and learning labs are distinguished by their evidence and maturity.
How My Experience Connects
My SRE background shapes how I approach architecture. I do not treat cloud design as a diagram-only exercise: every solution must be observable, recoverable, secure, operable, and cost-aware.
- SRE: observability, incident prevention, capacity, resilience, backup, and recovery.
- Platform engineering: Kubernetes, GitOps, CI/CD, security controls, and developer enablement.
- Infrastructure as code: Terraform, OpenTofu, Terragrunt, and repeatable environment delivery.
- AWS architecture: identity, compute, storage, networking, security, reliability, and cost optimization.
This portal provides evidence of that progression through reproducible labs, implementation guides, architecture patterns, and lessons from hands-on engineering.
Current Direction
I am building deeper AWS architecture coverage around the AWS Well-Architected Framework, multi-account governance, resilient workload design, hybrid connectivity, security, migration, and financial operations. The career journey explains how the existing work supports that direction.
